Karam Engineering Company

Up on the 11th floor of Gopala Tower, things feel a bit different than they do down on the street in Rajendra Place. Karam Engineering Company has been operating out of suite 11-E for a while now. Being in a high-rise means we get a decent view of the city, though we usually have our heads down looking at drawings or spreadsheets. Rajendra Place is a hub for a lot of businesses, so the elevators are always packed with people in a hurry at number 25. We try not to let that rush get to us too much. Our space is filled with old files and bits of equipment that have accumulated over the years. It feels like a lived-in office, not one of those glass boxes where you are afraid to touch anything. We drink a lot of coffee and talk through the technical problems that land on our desks. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually think. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People usually find us because they heard about us from someone else or they saw our sign in the lobby directory downstairs. We just try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take to get it finished. It’s a steady kind of life here in the tower, just keeping the engineering side of things moving along as best as we can.
