Kalakriti Creation

You can find Kalakriti Creation at 13/28a in Tilak Nagar. We have been here for a long time. Tilak Nagar is a busy residential area, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. Our shop isn't very big, but we try to keep it full of interesting things. We mostly work on ethnic wear and different types of outfits. It’s a lot of manual work. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and talking to customers about what they want. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with all the scraps of cloth on the floor, but we clean up every evening before locking up. Being at 13/28a means we are tucked away a bit, but locals know the way. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back next time. Tilak Nagar has a lot of energy. There’s always someone passing by or a scooter beeping outside the window. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit on while they wait or look at catalogs we have. It's not a luxury experience, just a regular local shop. We know most of our customers by their first names. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a good way to make a living and stay connected to the neighborhood where we live and work.
