K B Kulfi & Ice Cream

Our shop, K B Kulfi & Ice Cream, is located at No 9/49 in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area. Being right opposite the Railway Reservation Center means we see a lot of tired people. Most of them are just waiting for their trains or trying to get tickets sorted out, and they come over to get something cold while they wait. It’s a bit noisy here with the industrial machines running nearby and the trains clattering along, but we’ve gotten used to it. The shop isn't very big, and we mostly focus on kulfi because that’s what people ask for the most. We make it ourselves in the back. Sometimes the batches come out a little different depending on the milk we get that day, but that’s just how it goes with handmade stuff. We don't have fancy seating or air conditioning that works all the time, but we keep the kulfi frozen solid. My cousin helps me out behind the counter when it gets really busy during the lunch hour. We’ve had this spot for a while now. It’s not a glamorous neighborhood, but there’s always someone looking for a sweet break from their work in the factories. We just keep the lights on and the freezers humming. If you’re ever stuck at the reservation center and need a break from the heat, you’ll find us right across the road. We are just a regular place for regular people.
