My place is at J5/108 on the second floor in Rajouri Garden. Being in New Delhi, especially in a spot like Rajouri, means there is never a dull moment. The street below is always full of people shopping or headed to the metro. To get to me, you have to climb a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. The office itself is small and gets a lot of light from the windows facing the street. I have a lot of books and papers scattered around because I am not the best at filing things away immediately. It feels more like a lived-in space than a cold office. When the winter comes, the office gets quite chilly, and I have to wear a thick sweater while I work. Then in the summer, it's the exact opposite and the small fan I have barely does anything. It's just how it is living and working in Rajouri Garden. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or working at my laptop while the city noise hums in the background. Sometimes the neighbors on the first floor are playing music, or you can hear the street vendors calling out their prices. It is a bit chaotic but I like the energy of it. I do not have a big team or anything, it is mostly just me handling the daily grind. I drink a lot of water because of the Delhi heat and try to get the heavy work done before the afternoon slump hits.
