Joy D-Zign Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is over at Plot No. 13, Road No. 1 in Mundka Udyog Nagar. Being in an industrial area like Mundka means we’re surrounded by factories and other engineering firms. Our day-to-day usually involves a lot of design work and technical planning for different projects. We have a small office where we keep our computers and drafting tools. It’s not the quietest place with the factory noises nearby, but it’s where the actual work happens. We focus on engineering solutions, which is basically just our way of saying we figure out how to build stuff that works. We aren't big on corporate talk or long meetings that go nowhere. We’d rather just look at a problem on paper and draw up a way to fix it. Most of the people working here have been in the engineering industry for a while. We know our way around a blueprint and a technical manual. Sometimes we stay late to finish a project when the deadline is getting tight. That’s just part of the job in this industry. We don't really advertise much in papers or online. Most of our work comes from people who know our reputation or other businesses in the Udyog Nagar area. It’s a gritty, busy part of Delhi, but it suits us well enough. We like the practical side of engineering. It’s satisfying to see a design actually get built and do what it’s supposed to do.
