Jiten Foods & Flavours

Jiten Foods & Flavours is located at 819, Vishwasadan Distt. Centre in Janak Puri. We are up on one of the higher floors of the Vishwasadan building. The District Centre is a massive place with so many offices and shops that it's easy to get lost if you don't know the building numbers. Our office at 819 is where we keep all our flavor samples and records. It smells like a mix of vanilla and different fruit extracts when you walk in. Janak Puri is always bustling, and you can see the crowds from our window. We spend a lot of our time mixing different batches and testing how they taste. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't have a big laboratory with white coats; it’s more like a kitchen setup with a lot of jars and scales. My desk is always cluttered with glass vials and notebooks where I write down the measurements. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we just learned as we went along. Sometimes the elevators in the building break down and we have to walk up all those flights of stairs, which is not fun. We aren't a huge corporation. It’s just Jiten and a couple of assistants making sure the flavors are right. We mostly sell to local bakeries and small food makers who need specific ingredients for their products.
