Jai Engineering

Jai Engineering is over at D-19 in Mayapuri Phase-Ii. This area is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal in the air. Our unit is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. Inside, the space is taken up by our machines and some old workbenches that have seen better days. We don't really have an office; it's more like a small desk in the corner covered in drawings and oily fingerprints. The lighting isn't the best, but we know our way around the shop floor even in the dark. We spend our days turning parts and making sure everything fits the way it should. It’s hard work on your feet all day, and the grease gets under your fingernails, but we don't mind it much. We usually have a small radio playing some songs to make the time go by faster. There’s no big sign outside, just the unit number on the door. People who need work done usually just hear about us from someone else and show up. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just focus on the machines and the metal. It’s a simple life in Mayapuri, and we are just trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving.
