Our office for Integrated Databases India Ltd is over in Baljeet Nagar, which is part of the West Patel Nagar area in New Delhi. We are at T171/C. It’s a bit of a tricky spot to find if you aren't familiar with the narrow lanes around here. Even though we are part of the India Today Group, this office doesn't feel like a big corporate hub. It’s much more low-key and practical. We spend our days dealing with a lot of data and records, so the rooms are filled with computers and old-fashioned filing cabinets. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, but we have our desk lamps. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We don't have a canteen, so we usually just order something from the local shops nearby or bring tiffin boxes. The sounds of West Patel Nagar are always present—the traffic, the street vendors, and the general bustle of the city. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't have a dress code or anything like that; we just come in and get to work on the databases. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes things a bit slow, but we just keep the fans going and push through the day’s tasks. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and being in a real neighborhood like Baljeet Nagar makes it feel more authentic than a shiny business park.
