H.S. Engineering Works

H.S. Engineering Works is located over at Plot No. Rz-Q-151 in Nihal Vihar. We are quite close to the 500 Yard Gurudwara, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around all day. We do a lot of metalwork and engineering tasks right here in the shop. It's not a big place, but we manage to fit all the equipment we need inside the walls. Most days are loud because of the welding and grinding noises. I’ve been working in this area for a long time now. You see the same faces every day in the street, which is nice. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to clean up while we wait. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, if you walk in, you'll find me or one of the guys with a welding mask on. We just do what's asked and try to get it out the door on time. There’s a lot of dust from the road outside, so we’re always sweeping up. It’s just honest work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If something needs fixing or building, we look at it and see if we can do it. That’s life here in Nihal Vihar for us. We just keep our heads down and work on the projects as they come in. It is simple but it keeps us busy.
