Gulshan Dairy & Sweet

If you ever find yourself in Sadar Bazar on Munde Wale Street, you'll likely pass by Gulshan Dairy & Sweet. We are at 2390/1, right near the Sadar Nala Road. This area is always packed and noisy, which is just how we like it. We’ve been serving milk and making sweets here for a long time. The morning starts very early, usually before the sun is even up, because the fresh milk arrives then. Our kitchen isn't massive, but it’s always hot and smells like sugar and ghee. We make our sweets the old way, without trying to be too clever about it. People come here for their daily milk or a box of laddoos for a family thing. We know most of our customers by name, and we've seen their kids grow up. It’s a family-run kind of place. Some days the crowd is so thick on the street that it's hard to get the crates inside, but we manage somehow. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters and start working. The floor gets a bit sticky by the afternoon, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't a big chain, just a local shop trying to provide good dairy to the neighborhood. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but seeing people enjoy a fresh sweet makes it worth the sweat. We hope to stay here for many more years.
