G.S. Engineering Works

We've been at F-73 in Mayapuri Phase-II for quite some time now. Most people know this area is just rows of workshops and small factories, and we fit right in. My father actually got this place set up years ago when the industrial area was a lot quieter than it is today. Now, there's a lot of noise from the machines and trucks coming in and out all day long. We mostly handle metal jobs and fabrication here. It’s a dusty place, to be honest, and our hands are usually covered in grease by noon. We have a few old lathes and some newer welding sets that keep us busy from morning until late evening. The floor is concrete and has plenty of oil stains that don't really come out anymore, but that’s just how an engineering shop looks. Our staff is small, just a few guys who have been with us for a decade. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find me near the back where the heavy cutting happens. We just focus on getting the specs right on whatever piece of steel is on the table that day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is a bit of a headache, but we just take a tea break and wait for it to come back on. It's a simple way of working, really.
