Geekay Sales Corporation

We are located over in Hari Nagar, specifically at C 15. The name on the board is Geekay Sales Corporation. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. We started out small and stayed that way. Most of what we do involves selling various household items and small appliances. Our office is basically a room with a few desks and a lot of paperwork. We spend our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out. There’s no big sign outside, just a small one near the door. Local people know we are here. Sometimes they knock on the door asking for things we don't even sell, and we have to point them toward the main road. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t have a big team of sales people in suits. It’s just us in regular clothes. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and some on the computer. The fan makes a bit of noise in the summer, but we get used to it. We drink a lot of water and just get through the lists. It isn't a glamorous business, but it's steady. We like being in Hari Nagar because it feels like a neighborhood. You see the same people walking their dogs or going to the park while you're working. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We close up around six so we can go home and have dinner with our families.
