Export House

Our place, Export House, is located in Paschim Vihar, right across from BG-1 in Shivangi Kunj. It is a decent area, though the parking can be a real headache if you arrive after ten in the morning. We deal with moving goods around, mostly focusing on getting things out of the country. The office is always full of boxes, packing tape, and shipping labels. It is a bit chaotic, but that is the nature of the export business. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the trucks are where they are supposed to be. It is a lot of coordination and occasionally a lot of arguing over the phone when things get delayed at the port. We are not a massive shipping company with our own fleet of planes. We are just a small group of people who know how to navigate the rules and get things moving. The office usually has the radio playing in the background to drown out the noise from the street. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the busy seasons. There is no corporate ladder here to climb, just work that needs finishing before the day ends. We have had some tough times when the economy slowed down, but we are still here. It is about being stubborn and just keeping at it. We like being in New Delhi because everything is right here, even if the pace is a bit exhausting sometimes.
