D.J. Engineering Works

D.J. Engineering Works is based out of Rz-10, Block-A in Narsingh Garden. It’s right in the middle of Khyala Village, which is always a hive of activity. There’s always someone moving something or a truck trying to squeeze through the lanes. We’ve been here in this block for quite some time now. The workshop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of our day is spent around machines and metal. It’s a dusty kind of job, but someone has to do it. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day—kids playing, vendors shouting, and the constant hum of other shops nearby. Narsingh Garden is a tight-knit place. Everyone knows everyone else around here. We just stick to our work at Rz-10. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the tools we need and a place to sit when we take a break. It gets hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. The village atmosphere is different from the main city areas. It feels more grounded. We don’t use any fancy systems to track things, just paper and memory mostly. It’s how we’ve always operated. We focus on the engineering side of things and don't worry about looking polished. It's just a regular local shop doing what it does. The days are long but we don't mind the grind.
