Devraj Engiineering Works

Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II is a place where you can find almost anything made of metal if you look hard enough. Our workshop, Devraj Engiineering Works, is situated at Plot No.C-195. It is a busy part of Mayapuri, and there is always something going on in the lane outside. We have been here for a long time, watching the area change while we keep doing the same kind of work. The shop floor is always full of scrap metal and half-finished projects. We deal with all sorts of engineering tasks, mostly stuff that people bring in from the surrounding businesses. The air smells like grease and burnt iron most of the time. We have a few older machines that still run better than the new ones, and we take care of them like they are part of the family. It is a small team here, just a handful of us who know the trade well. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk up to the main bench and talk to whoever isn't busy. Lunch breaks are usually taken sitting on plastic stools near the entrance, watching the traffic go by on the narrow road. The noise of the neighboring shops is just background music to us now. We just try to get the orders finished on time so we can move on to the next one. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late in the evening every single day.
