Dev Engineering Works

We've been here in Matiala village for quite a long time now. If you head towards Dwarka Sector 4 and look near the bus stand, that is where you will find us. It is a busy spot. The noise from the buses and the people rushing to catch their rides is just part of our daily background. We started Dev Engineering Works with just a few basic tools and a lot of manual labor. Most days, the floor is covered in metal shavings and oil. That is just how it goes when you are fixing things and getting parts fabricated. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. People from the neighborhood drop by mostly for small repairs or when they need something specific welded or machined. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is free just wipes their hands on a rag and comes out to see what the customer needs. It is basic, honest work. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have too many orders piling up, but we eventually sort it all out. Living and working right here near the bus stand means we see everyone passing through. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything that happens in this part of Dwarka. We just keep our heads down, focus on the lathes and the welding machines, and try to make sure whatever leaves our shop is sturdy enough to last.
