Deokali Engineering Works

Our place, Deokali Engineering Works, is located right at 7/31 in Tilak Nagar. It is a familiar spot for anyone who lives around this part of the city. We have been working out of this building for a long time, and the walls probably have stories to tell. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty, and there is always that smell of metal and oil in the air. That is just part of the job. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just find us in the back. Tilak Nagar is a crowded area, so parking is always a headache near the entrance. Most of the guys here have been working together for years. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. We don’t spend much time on computers. We prefer using our hands and the old machines that still run just fine if you treat them right. Sometimes the rain leaks through the roof a little bit when it’s heavy, but we just move the gear and keep going. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We take care of the tools and try to keep things organized enough so we can find what we need. Life here moves at a steady pace, and we like the routine. We just do the engineering work that comes our way and keep the lights on every day.
