D. J. Engg. Works

You can find D. J. Engg. Works over at A-47 in the Tagore Garden Extension area. It is basically a workshop where we handle a lot of metal and mechanical stuff. There is nothing very special about the building, it is just a solid place where we can get our work done without being disturbed too much. Inside, it’s mostly just the smell of oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We have been around for a bit, just doing what we know how to do. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but our shop adds a bit of noise to the street during the day. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the shop floor and find one of us. We are usually covered in some kind of soot or grease by noon. It is hard work, but it is what we are good at. We don't bother with much paperwork unless we absolutely have to. Most of our time is spent looking at drawings or standing at a machine. We like the Tagore Garden area because it is easy to get to, and we have gotten used to the people around here. We just take things one day at a time, finishing one job before we move on to the next. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us and the people who do work for us. We've been here long enough that most folks know us by name now.
