Channi Eng Works

Down here at Channi Eng Works, things stay pretty busy most of the week. We are located right in the Naresh Park Extension Main Market, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. I’ve been working with metal and machines for a long time now. People bring in all sorts of stuff that needs fixing, like broken gates, tractor parts, or sometimes just small pieces of hardware that need a bit of welding. The shop isn't exactly clean, there’s always iron filings on the floor and the smell of grease in the air, but that’s just how it is when you’re doing this kind of work. We have a few old lathes and some welding equipment that have seen better days but they still work just fine for what we need. Sometimes a job takes longer than I thought it would, especially if the parts are old and rusted through. I usually have a couple of guys helping me out when the heavy stuff comes in. We take our time to make sure things are solid. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. If you need something, you just walk in and talk to us. It’s a basic workshop where we try to get things done right the first time so people don't have to keep coming back for the same problem.
