Bhagat Engineering Works

If you're looking for us, we’re at 126, Extension 2-A. The easiest way to find the place is to look for Sohan Diary in Nangloi, as everyone around here knows where that is. Bhagat Engineering Works is a modest shop, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls have that specific layer of workshop dust that you can’t ever really clean off. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze once you get all the equipment and the raw materials inside. The street outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor just to keep it from becoming a disaster. We have an old radio that plays mostly static, but it keeps us company while we’re working on the lathes. It’s mostly family and a few local guys who work here. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just use the landline or people just drop by when they need something fixed. There’s always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that we mean to clear out every weekend, but somehow it stays there. The lighting isn't great, so we use those portable lamps to see what we're doing on the smaller parts. It’s just a regular engineering shop doing everyday work for the folks in the neighborhood.
