Benny Rice Mill

Benny Rice Mill is located right in Ranjit Nagar. It is not a huge place compared to some others, but we keep busy enough with the locals and the grain that comes in every day. If you live around this area, you probably hear our machines humming throughout the afternoon. We have been at this for some time now. Some days are slower than others, but during the main season, it is non-stop from sunrise to way past dark. We have a few guys helping out with the loading and the heavy lifting. The bags get really heavy after a few hours, let me tell you. We mostly just focus on getting the rice cleaned and ready for transport. There is a lot of dust, and the heat from the motors can get pretty intense during the summer months. We do not really go in for anything fancy or complicated here. It is a straightforward business. We show up, turn on the equipment, and get to work. Sometimes a belt breaks or a motor acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon greasy and frustrated while we fix it. But that is just part of the deal. Ranjit Nagar is a good spot for us. It is convenient for the transport and the people we deal with. We are not trying to be the biggest mill in the world. We just want to do a solid job and go home to our families. It is hard work, but it is what we know.
