Bedi Engineering Works

Bedi Engineering Works is located at Wz-3Rd A/28 in the Vishnu Garden area. It’s a typical local workshop where there is always something being welded or repaired. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the sound of machines running or the clinking of metal tools. The space is a bit tight because we have so many machines and pieces of equipment packed into the shop, but we know where everything is. We’ve been working out of Vishnu Garden for years, and most people in the neighborhood know us by now. My hands are usually stained with oil or grease by lunchtime, which is just part of being in the engineering business. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team to call people up. Most of our work comes from people just dropping by because they have something that needs fixing or they need a specific part made. It can get pretty loud and messy in here, especially when we are in the middle of a big project. We don't mind the noise, though; it means we are busy. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. When the day ends, we lock up the shutters and head home, ready to do the same thing again the next morning. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s what we do and we’re used to it. The machinery is old but reliable, just like us.
