Anil Flour Mill

Anil Flour Mill has been at 10/1 Jaydev Park in East Panjabi Bagh for a long time. It is a small place but it stays very busy with people from the neighborhood coming in to get their grain ground. The smell of fresh flour is always in the air and the sound of the grinders is something you just get used to. We don't have a lot of space but we make the most of what we have. It is a very simple operation where we just take the wheat or other grains and turn them into flour. The machines need a lot of looking after so they don't get too hot or jammed up. We spend a lot of time cleaning up because flour dust gets into every corner if you let it. Jaydev Park is a nice local area and we like being part of the community here. It’s not a fancy corporate business and we don’t have a big marketing department. We just have our regular customers who know where we are and what we do. Some days the mill is running from early morning until late at night if there is a lot of grain to process. We just take it one bag at a time and try to keep everything running smoothly. It’s hard work and it gets quite warm inside the mill but we have been doing it for years now and it has become our daily routine.
