Amar Engineering Works

You can find us at B-110, right by Gate No.1 in Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-I. It’s a busy part of the city. There’s always noise from the other units and trucks coming in and out. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time. The workshop is always full of iron and steel. We do a lot of heavy work here. It’s not a place for clean clothes. Most of us go home with grease on our hands every day. That’s just part of the job at Amar Engineering Works. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs. We just have a desk tucked in the corner near the entrance. That’s where we handle the paperwork and talk to customers who drop by. Mayapuri is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the dust, but it’s where all the action is. We know the other guys in the nearby units too. We help each other out with tools or advice sometimes. Our machines are old but they still work well because we take care of them. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or decor. We’d rather spend it on better materials or fixing a lathe. It’s a simple way of doing business. We open early and stay until the work is finished for the day. That's just how we operate.
