Mundka is one of those places that never really stops. We are located right in the middle of it, near Nangloi, where the traffic is always a bit of a nightmare. Our unit is where we handle all the food processing. It’s a lot of manual labor, really. We spend the day weighing things out and getting the packaging right. The machines are loud, and the air always smells like whatever we are packing that day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a while, and we just grind through the work. The metro line runs nearby, and you can feel the vibration sometimes when the trains go past. Our space is functional, filled with stainless steel tables and big plastic bins. We don’t have a fancy front office for meetings. Usually, if someone needs to talk, we just stand near the loading dock or sit on some crates. It gets dusty because of the industrial surroundings, so we are always wiping things down. The weather in Delhi is tough, either too hot or too cold, but we keep the production going regardless. We aren't trying to be some big brand; we are just local guys making sure the food gets out to the shops on time. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with, but we manage to get through it.
