Om Sai Garments

You can find Om Sai Garments at H. No. 2-4-426/a in Kranthinagar Colony. We’re in the Ramnagar area of Hanmakonda, which is in the Warangal district. Our workshop is basically a part of our home. Several sewing machines are set up in the main room, and there’s always a pile of colorful fabric sitting on the floor or the cutting table. The sound of the machines running is the background noise of our day. Making all kinds of clothes for the local people is what keeps us busy. It’s not a high-end boutique with mannequins in the window; it’s more of a place where people bring their own cloth and tell us what they want. Sometimes we stay up late to finish an order for a wedding or a festival. My hands are usually full of thread and chalk marks by evening. The colony is quite friendly, and we know most of our neighbors. They often drop by to see what new designs are on the table. Instead of a big sign, we just have a small one near the gate so people don’t miss the house. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we have a couple of old ceiling fans that whistle while they spin. Having been in this trade for a long time, we are still learning as we go. It’s a simple business, focused on making sure the stitches are straight and the fit is right for whoever walks through the door.
