About Nagamani Ladies Tailor – Fashion & Trends in Warangal
I started this stitching work at home in Vemnoor house number 2-46 quite a few years back. People around Mahabubabad know me mostly for blouses and dresses. It’s just me and a couple of machines here. I take the measurements, cut the cloth, and do the sewing myself mostly. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded during festival times or when there is a wedding in the village. It isn’t a big fancy boutique or anything. Just a small room where I work from morning till evening. I try to get the fittings right so people don't have to come back twice. The light in the shop isn't always great, but I manage. Neighbors stop by to chat while I’m finishing up a hem or fixing a hook. It gets busy, especially when schools open and uniforms need doing. I keep the threads and buttons in old tins on the shelf. If you're looking for the place, just ask anyone near house 2-46. The sign is a bit faded now but it's still there. I don't use any computer for designs, I just draw them on the cloth with chalk. It’s quiet work usually. I’ve lived in Vemnoor all my life so everyone knows where I stay. Sometimes I have to work late at night when a customer needs something urgently for a function the next day. The sewing machine makes a steady humming noise all through the afternoon. I make sure to oil the parts every Sunday so it doesn't jam up and cause trouble.
