Gowtham Model School

You can’t really miss Gowtham Model School since it’s right on the Main Road in Hanamkonda. Being in a central part of Warangal means we get a lot of foot traffic and buses passing by all day. The school has been part of this street for a long time. It’s a solid building, nothing too modern, but it does the job. Inside, things are pretty standard. We have the usual rows of benches and blackboards. Our staff consists of local people who live nearby, so there is a real connection with the neighborhood. We see the same parents every day at the gate, and we’ve seen siblings grow up and pass through our classes one after another. It’s not a fancy private academy with a swimming pool or anything like that. We focus on the textbooks and making sure the kids understand their lessons. Sometimes the main road gets very loud, especially during festivals or rallies, but we just close the windows and carry on. Maintenance is a constant thing—painting a wall here or fixing a bench there—but we keep on top of it. It’s just a regular school for regular families. We don’t have any big corporate backing, just the fees we collect and the work we put in. It’s a simple life here in Hanamkonda, and we’re happy to be part of it. We take things one day at a time and try to keep everything in order for the students.
