About Indian Public School – Education in Warangal
Indian Public School is right here on Ambala Road in Hanamkonda. We have been here for a while. Every morning, you see the kids coming in from the nearby streets. It gets quite busy around the gate at 8:30. The building is older but it serves its purpose well. Our classrooms have these big windows that let in a lot of dust during the summer months, but that is just part of being in Warangal. Teachers here are local folks who know most of the parents. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids have their books and are staying quiet during lessons. It is not always easy keeping sixty kids in a room focused, but we do what we can. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day. You can hear them shouting from the far end of the hallway. After school, the place feels empty and a bit strange. We spend some time cleaning up the chalk dust and straightening the wooden benches before going home ourselves. Living and working here in Hanamkonda means we see our students at the market too. It is a simple life. Nothing fancy about the school really. Just a place for learning. We keep the registers updated and make sure the bells ring on time. Sometimes the fans make too much noise, but the kids don’t seem to mind much.
