Rushi Public School

We have been here on 6th Lane for quite a long time now. People in Padmavathi Nagar know where we are because of the big gate. It’s a busy spot in Chinna Veedhi, especially in the mornings when the parents are dropping their kids off on scooters. Vizianagaram is a growing place, but this little corner stays mostly the same. The building isn't brand new, but it holds up. We spend most of our days keeping things organized and making sure the classes start on time. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise in the summer, but nobody seems to mind much. We have a lot of benches and the blackboards are kept clean. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk to work. It’s nice because everyone knows each other’s names. We don’t have fancy elevators or anything like that. It’s just stairs and hallways where you can hear the children reciting their lessons. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees come onto the roof, which causes a bit of a stir with the younger ones. We try to keep the garden out front looking okay, even if the goats sometimes get in. It's just a regular place where kids come to learn their ABCs and math. We do what we can with what we have here. The 535001 area is a good community for us and we've been part of it for a while now.
