Ravi Teja English Medium School

Ravi Teja English Medium School is over in the Gowrinagar area of Srungavarapukota. It’s a nice enough spot in Vizianagaram, where things move a little slower than in the big cities. The school is a simple structure where the classrooms are always full of students from the nearby neighborhoods. You can see the hills in the distance if you stand in the right spot in the yard. Every morning, the children walk or ride their cycles to get here, and the place comes alive with the sound of zippers and chatter. We have these plain desks and chairs that have served many classes over the years. The teachers spend most of their day at the front of the room, writing on the green boards and checking the students' notebooks. It’s an honest kind of environment without any extra fluff. During the breaks, the kids sit in small groups to share their snacks, and you can hear the laughter echoing through the halls. The school office is usually busy with someone coming in to pay fees or ask about a holiday. When the final bell rings, the Gowrinagar streets get filled with kids heading home, and the school gets quiet again. It’s just a regular part of life here in S. Kota, where we focus on the daily tasks of running a school and helping the kids learn their lessons.
