Vaishali Restaurant

You can find us inside Hotel Meghalaya on Joy Alukas Road in the Asilmetta area of Visakhapatnam. It is a pretty central spot, right beside the Gvmc Office, so there is always something happening outside our windows. Vaishali Restaurant is where we serve the people staying at the hotel and the locals who work nearby. The traffic on this road can be a real headache during the rush hours, but it brings a lot of people through the door. We have been serving food here for a good bit of time. The dining room is straightforward with tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use. We do not go in for any of that modern decor that some places have now. We just focus on getting the plates out to the tables. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the kitchen runs. The humidity in Vizag can be tough, so we keep the coolers going as much as we can. Lunchtime is usually our busiest hour when the government office workers come over for a quick bite. We see the same faces almost every day, which is nice. It is just a regular restaurant doing its thing in the middle of a busy city. We do not make a big deal out of it. We just cook and serve.
