Alif Family Restaurant

We are out in Gajuwaka, right on the main road in Vizag. If you know the Gajuwaka area of Visakhapatnam, you know how busy it gets with all the industrial work and the shops. Our restaurant is in the 530026 zip code, and we’ve been here long enough to see the road get wider and the traffic get much heavier over the years. It’s a family restaurant, which mostly means we have bigger tables and we don't mind when kids are making a bit of noise. The building is a standard one on the main road, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done. Inside, it’s just a regular dining room with the smell of the kitchen coming through the service window. We don't have any corporate mission statements or big goals. We just want to make sure people have a place to sit and eat after a long day of work or shopping in the local market. The staff is mostly from around here, and we all just work together to keep the floors clean and the food moving to the tables. It gets really hot in Vizag, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can for the customers. We’re just a local business on the Gajuwaka main road, doing the same thing we’ve been doing for years without making a big fuss. It’s a busy life, but we’re used to it.
