Banyan Tree REstaurant

We are up on the roof of Peejay Plaza right here on VIP Road in Visakhapatnam. Being at the top means we get a bit of a breeze which is nice because it gets really hot down on the street level. We've been at this spot for some time now and most people know us by the Banyan Tree REstaurant name. It’s not a fancy place but we keep things running. The stairs can be a bit much for some people but we are used to it. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit chaotic when several tables show up at once especially on Friday nights when the whole area gets crowded. We just try to get the food out as fast as we can. Dealing with the suppliers on VIP road is a daily thing and sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance which is a headache but that’s just how it goes in Vizag. We see a lot of regulars who come by after work and it’s good to recognize faces. We aren't trying to be anything huge just a local spot where you can sit and see the city from above. It’s mostly just me and a few others working here to keep the tables clean and the orders moving. Some days are slow and we just sit around watching the traffic below while we wait for the dinner rush to start around seven in the evening. It is a simple life for us here.
