Our spot is in the Vuda Apartments in Seethamadhara. Specifically, we are in Flat No 102 of the B-Block. It’s a residential complex in Visakhapatnam, so the vibe is very different from a big glass office building. You have neighbors walking their dogs or coming back from the market while we are sitting inside working on software stuff. Visakhapatnam has that nice coastal air, though in Seethamadhara you don't feel the breeze as much as you do down by the beach. The flat is basically our office now, with cables running across the floor and extra monitors squeezed onto dining tables. We’ve been here at Tammina Software Solutions for a while, and the security guards at the gate know us all by name. It’s a bit cramped when we have a full crew in, especially in the small kitchen when everyone wants water at the same time. We don't have fancy ergonomic chairs for everyone, just whatever we could find that was comfortable enough. Most of the day is spent staring at screens and trying to figure out bugs. If someone gets stuck, we usually just walk over to their desk or shout across the room. It’s a very informal way of working. We order in food when we are busy, and there are plenty of small places nearby that deliver quickly to the Vuda blocks. It’s a simple, honest way to run a tech company without all the corporate nonsense.
