Spicy Platter

Spicy Platter is located in Brahma Towers over in Pedawaltair. We are on the second floor, flat number 203. It is a bit of a different setup since we are in a building rather than a storefront on the street. You have to come up the stairs or use the lift to find us. We started this because we had this space in Brahma Towers and wanted to do something with it. Visakhapatnam is a great city, and Pedawaltair is a nice quiet area compared to the beach road. Most of our customers are people who live in the surrounding flats or students from nearby. We have a small kitchen and a few tables. It feels more like eating at someone’s house than a big restaurant. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing everything from cooking to cleaning. Sometimes the delivery guys have trouble finding the flat, but once they know where house 31-8-56 is, they get here fine. We keep things simple and don't spend much on advertising. We just hope the food we make is enough to keep people coming back. It’s a quiet life running a place like this. We spend a lot of time testing out different spices to see what works for our guests. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Vizag. We just want to serve a good plate of food to whoever walks through our door.
