Silver Oaks International School Visakhapatnam

Silver Oaks is located out on the Rushikonada Endada Road, right in the Rushikonda area of Visakhapatnam. If you’ve ever driven down that way, you know it’s a bit of a trip from the main city center, but the air feels a bit fresher being so close to the coast. We’re near Chinna Bazaar, which is where a lot of the local activity happens. The school itself is quite a large property, and managing it takes up most of our time. Every morning there’s a big rush at the gates with buses and cars trying to drop off the kids. It can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but we get through it. The building is big and has plenty of windows, which is great for the light but sometimes makes it quite warm inside. We aren’t trying to sound like a fancy institution with a bunch of corporate buzzwords. We’re just a school where teachers are constantly looking for their chalk or trying to get the projectors to work. You’ll see staff running around the corridors and kids playing outside during their breaks. Visakhapatnam is a beautiful place, and being tucked away in Rushikonda gives the school its own little corner. We just focus on the daily routine of classes, meetings, and making sure the place doesn't fall into too much chaos by the afternoon. It's a lot of coordination, but we have a good group of people here.
