This is our place on Beach Road in Rushikonda, under the 530045 area code. We’ve been operating here for years, watching the beach change and the crowds grow. It’s a big property, so there is always something that needs fixing or painting. The coastal weather is tough on buildings, but we stay on top of it as much as we can. We get a lot of groups coming for weekend trips from the city. The layout of the resort is pretty open, allowing for a nice breeze to come through from the bay. We have a lot of trees and some grass areas that we try to keep green. It’s a place where you can wear your flip-flops everywhere and not feel out of place. We don’t have a lot of those stiff corporate rules. We just want people to have a place to sleep and eat while they enjoy the water. The kitchen puts out a lot of food, especially on Sundays when it gets really packed. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when every table is full, but the staff works hard. It’s a local business through and through. We appreciate the people who have been coming back to see us every year since they were kids. It makes the hard work of running a resort by the ocean feel worth it. We just keep doing what we do and hope the weather stays clear.
