About Ramakrishna Clay Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Visakhapatnam
We are located right at 2446 in Seethampeta, just across from the Shiva Temple. Most days it is just a lot of noise and red dust around here. Ramakrishna Clay Bricks is where we spend all our time, usually from early morning when the sun is barely up. The kiln stays hot and there is always someone moving something. People come by mostly because they know we are here by the temple. It is a simple setup really. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. Just a yard full of bricks and a few sheds for the workers to sit under when the heat gets too much. Sometimes the trucks get stuck if the ground is soft, especially when it rains, but we manage to get things moving eventually. My father used to say that making bricks is just playing with mud but it’s harder than it looks. You have to get the fire right and the cooling takes its own time. We just keep doing what we do every day. Customers stop their bikes and ask for prices, and we just tell them what is available. It is not a very complicated business, just heavy work. The Seethampeta area is changing a bit but the temple stays the same and so do we. We have been sitting here for a good while now, just watching the traffic go by the front gate while we stack the rows.
