Jaya Krishna Flyash Bricks

Jaya Krishna Flyash Bricks is right opposite the Thadi Railway Station in Maredupudi. Being right on the NH5 Road makes it pretty easy for trucks to pull in and out without too much trouble. You can hear the trains passing by all day while we work on the flyash bricks. It’s a bit of a loud spot because of the highway and the station, but we got used to it a long time ago. We make these bricks using flyash, which is a bit different from the traditional clay ones people used to use. Our yard is usually full of grey stacks waiting to be loaded. It’s not a fancy place to look at. We have some basic machinery and a lot of open space for drying and storage. Most of our days are spent out in the open, checking on the batches and talking to the loaders. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a small desk where we keep the ledger. It’s practical work. People stop by because they see us from the highway or because they are heading to the station. We don't do much in the way of advertising. The bricks speak for themselves when people see them. It is just a local business trying to keep up with the building happening around Maredupudi. We aren't interested in being anything other than a reliable local supplier.
