Podar Jumbo Kids

Podar Jumbo Kids is found at Door No 10-51-11 in the Waltair Uplands area of Visakhapatnam. Being in Vizag, we get a bit of a sea breeze when the weather is right. The 530003 area is quite hilly and has a lot of nice trees. Our school building is an older house that has been changed to fit the kids. We have a lot of small chairs and tables scattered around the rooms. The floors are covered in foam padding because the little ones fall down quite a bit. We spend our mornings singing and helping the children with their drawings. The walls are bright, but the salt in the air from the ocean makes the paint wear off faster than usual. We have to do a lot of maintenance on the window frames. Podar Jumbo Kids has a small front yard where the parents wait in the afternoon. Most of us who work here live in different parts of Visakhapatnam and take the bus to get here. It is a bit of a climb up the hill to get to the door. We have a kitchen where we make tea and keep our lunch boxes. It is a noisy place during the day, but it feels good to be busy. We just take things one day at a time and keep the place running as best as we can.
