Dr. Radhakrishna Higher Primary School

Our school is located in Gajuwaka, specifically in Flat Ff1 and Ff2. It is in the 530026 area of Visakhapatnam, which is a very busy part of the city with lots of shops and people moving around. Since we are a higher primary school, we have younger kids here mostly. The space is basically a few flats that we have turned into classrooms. It is a bit unconventional but it works for us and the families in this neighborhood. The hallways are often filled with the sound of children reciting their lessons or playing during their break time. We don't have a big playground, but we make do with what we have. The teachers here are mostly from the local Gajuwaka area, so they don't have to travel far. It feels more like a community center than a big institution. We handle all the usual school stuff like attendance, homework, and exams. Parents often drop by the office to check on things since they live or work so close by. The furniture is simple and the walls have some student drawings on them. It is a humble place and we don't try to be something we are not. We just focus on the basic education of the kids who come to us every morning. It is a lot of noise and energy, but that is just life at a primary school. The building is surrounded by other shops and businesses, so it feels very integrated into the daily life of Gajuwaka. Most people just walk here from their houses nearby.
