New Lotus Play School

New Lotus Play School is situated at 3813, 74 Mig Ii in MVP Sector 3. This is in the MVP Colony part of Visakhapatnam. It’s a smaller setup because we focus on play school age children. The building is basically a house that has been modified to fit the needs of little kids. We have a lot of colorful mats on the floors and plastic toys scattered around. It’s a very different vibe from the big schools nearby. Since it’s in a residential sector, it stays relatively quiet on the street. We get the toddlers and the kids who are just about to start primary school. The mornings are filled with the sound of rhymes and crying sometimes when the parents first drop them off. Our staff is mostly local women who have been doing this for a long time. There’s a small outdoor area where they can play when it’s not too hot outside. We have to keep a close eye on them, of course. The rooms are filled with drawings they’ve made on the walls. It’s a simple, cozy place. It’s not corporate at all; it feels more like an extension of home for these kids. We just spend our days making sure they are safe and learning a few basic things before they head off to the bigger schools in Vizag. It gets a bit messy with all the toys, but we clean it up every afternoon after they leave.
