Peoples Kitchen

People's Kitchen is sitting right there in Pedawaltair. If you're coming from the Baba Bazaar side, we aren't hard to find. We are over in Lassons Bake Colony, which is a fairly well-known pocket of Visakhapatnam. The neighborhood has its own rhythm. Early mornings are mostly about prep work, getting the onions chopped and the stoves going. It gets quite humid here in Vizag, so the kitchen feels it more than the seating area does. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy. We’ve had this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the food is what people come for anyway. We try to keep things simple. You won't find any complicated stuff on the menu that we can't explain. We see a lot of the same people every week. It’s nice when you know a customer's name before they even sit down. The area around 530017 has grown a lot lately. More shops, more cars. Finding parking near the shop can be a bit of a gamble on weekends. We just do our thing and hope people leave full. It’s a practical way to earn a living. Nothing too fancy, just a kitchen in a busy part of town. We keep the doors open most days unless something urgent comes up.
