Marind Projects Pvt. Ltd. is based at 9-24-7 Bharat Villa, tucked inside the Cbm Compound. It is a solid old building and we have been using this space for our project work for a while. The compound has a lot of history and other people working nearby. We have some desks set up and a lot of maps and charts pinned to the walls. It gets a bit cramped when we have all the staff in at once, but we make it work. Most days involve a lot of talking and trying to figure out the logistics for the next phase of whatever we are doing. We are not into the fancy office decor. The chairs are mismatched and the air conditioning is a bit old, but it keeps us cool enough. Bharat Villa is easy to find once you know where the compound is. We have a lot of files from old projects stored in the back room. Sometimes it takes a while to find what we are looking for. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You just get whoever is closest to the desk. It’s a local operation and we know the area well. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized as things move along. The compound stays pretty quiet in the afternoons, which helps us get the reports finished.
