About Junior Engineer – Engineering in Visakhapatnam
I’m working out of RR Enclave, specifically Flat 104, near the Gajuwaka Depot in Visakhapatnam. My name is tied to my father, M. Atchuthu Rao, as is the tradition here. Being a Junior Engineer in a busy place like Vizag means there is always something happening. The area around the depot is usually pretty loud with buses and traffic, but inside the flat, it is quiet enough to think. I started this because I like how things are built. D.No 65-6-683 is where I keep my books and tools. It’s not a corporate headquarters or anything like that. Just a lived-in space where the work happens. I don't use big words to describe what I do. I look at technical problems and try to find a way through them. My family has been in this area for years. Sometimes I walk down to the depot just to see the movement of the city. Being an engineer isn't always about big projects. Sometimes it is just about getting the small details right for a neighbor or a local contact. I don't have a team of secretaries. It is just me and my desk. If you are looking for 530026, you will find me there most afternoons after I come back from the field. It's a plain life but it's mine. I don't need much else besides my drawings and a good cup of tea while I work on my reports.
