Geetha Mess

Geetha Mess is located in Visakhapatnam, specifically at the Pandhimetta area. We are right on Nowroji Road, across from the More Supermarket. If you know where Prema Hospital is, we are just at that junction. It is a small mess, the kind where people come for a simple meal that feels like it was made at home. We don't have a massive menu, just the usual things we cook every day. The kitchen is small, so the smell of the food spreads everywhere. We get a lot of students and people living in nearby hostels who don't have a place to cook for themselves. It’s nice to see the same people every day and chat with them a bit while they eat. The tables are usually full around one in the afternoon. We don't have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum all day. Sometimes we have to ask people to share tables when it gets really crowded, but nobody seems to mind. We try to keep the prices fair so that everyone can afford to eat here regularly. It’s a busy little spot and we spend most of our time prepping vegetables or cleaning up. We aren't trying to be a big restaurant, just a reliable mess for the neighborhood. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we keep the doors open and the food ready. Most of the time, we are just busy with the daily chores.
