E Shaja Das

My office is in a bit of a unique spot, over at Railway Quarter No. Re-6E. It’s right on Railway Station Road, sitting just beside the Head Post Office. Because of the location, there’s always the sound of trains and the general bustle of people heading to the station or the post office. It’s a very active part of Visakhapatnam. E Shaja Das is the name on the door, but inside it’s just a simple room where I get my work done. I’ve been here for a good number of years. The quarters have that old-style feel to them, which I quite like. It isn't a modern business park or a high-rise. It’s a grounded, local place. I spend most of my day dealing with paperwork and meeting people who drop in. There’s no fancy waiting area, just a place to sit. I don’t like making things more complicated than they need to be. I just take things one day at a time. The mail from the post office next door comes in regularly, and the station clock helps me keep track of the time. It’s a very practical environment for the kind of work I do. I’m not trying to be a big corporation. I’m just a local professional providing a service to the people in this neighborhood. It’s a honest way to work, and I enjoy being right in the heart of things. It is just how life goes for me here.
