Softscripts

We are based out of two units, 8 and 9, in Krupa Apartments. It is a bit of a different setup since it is an apartment building, but it suits Softscripts just fine. It feels more like a home than an office, which the staff seems to like. We have been here for some time now. There is no big neon sign or anything like that, just our names on the door. Inside, it is mostly just rows of computers and a small kitchen where we spend a lot of time. We work on software and scripts, hence the name. It’s a lot of staring at screens and typing away. Sometimes the neighbors in the building wonder what we are doing, but we just keep to ourselves mostly. The space is a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If you come by, one of the programmers will probably be the one to open the door. It’s a very casual environment. We wear jeans and t-shirts and don't worry about corporate rules. It’s about getting the code written and making sure it works. We've got a few plants that we forget to water sometimes, and the desks are usually covered in notebooks. It’s just a normal place where people work hard. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just like writing scripts and living in our little corner of the apartments. It works for us and keeps the overhead low.
