Appayan

Appayan is over in Allipuram, Visakhapatnam, at address 32-26-65. We are located right at Captain Ramarao Junction. If you look for Hotel Manikanta, we are just below it on the ground level. It’s a busy junction with a lot of people crossing the road all the time. Being in Allipuram means we are right in the heart of things. The salt air from the coast is always around us, though you can mostly smell the city traffic. We’ve been at this junction for a long time. The space is a bit small and can get cramped, but we make the most of it. It’s not a fancy setup with air conditioning or plush chairs or anything like that. We just have what we need to get the job done. The street noise is constant, with horns and people shouting and buses going by, but we don’t mind it much anymore. We start our work while the city is still waking up and it's a bit cooler. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning the floors or prepping the ingredients for the day. We don’t have any big goals other than finishing the day’s work and coming back tomorrow. It’s just a regular local spot for regular people who live around here. We don’t put on any acts for anyone. We are just here at the junction, below the hotel, working every day.
